Matty is doing GREAT! He is walking around like a pro! His new favorite game is being chased! He runs and laughs so hard that he falls down! Damian loves to chase him and let Matty chase him, Ashlyn crawls behind them going just as fast! It's Hilarious! Matty and Ash are becoming really close, they play together so well! They are more like twins, Matty was evaluated the other day by his therapists and they put him at about an 18 month level so he and Ash are really close to the same age when they play :)
Matty starts PPCD in April, I can't believe he's going to be three soon! I can't imagine my little Matty walking around the halls of an elementary school! Damian's class is actually about 3 doors down, which is pretty cool! Damian is so excited that his baby brother will be at his school for three hours every day! Matty will get all of his therapy at school which will be really helpful! He is still seeing his speech, OT and PT once a week...with the holiday's he hasn't been for a while but I need to get him back into the routine.
Christmas was good this year! Matty got a new Elmo live toy, that thing is so cool! I actually think that Matty and Ash thinks he is real! LOL they play with it all the time! We went to the DS Christmas party, that was alot of fun! We got to meet alot of other kids with Down's and just eat and talk! The kids even got to sit on Santa's lap!...I think Santa was asleep though...he was tired, it was a 22 yr old boy with Down's and he dressed up like Santa and let all the kids get pictures with him! It was so all FUN!
Anyways, thats all I can think of for now...I will try and keep updated on these more :)
